Queensland Fuel Spy ("the App") is a free fuel price comparison tool that helps users find the cheapest fuel across Queensland, Australia. The App is provided at no cost and is intended for use as-is.

Queensland Fuel Spy does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. There are no accounts, no sign-ups, no tracking, and no analytics. Your data stays on your device.

2. Location Access

The App requests access to your device's location solely to show your position on the fuel station map. This allows you to see which stations are nearby.

3. Fuel Price Data

Fuel prices are sourced from the Queensland Government Fuel Pricing API (Department of Energy and Climate). This is publicly available government data. No personal information is sent to this API — the App only retrieves fuel station names, addresses, and prices.

4. What We Do NOT Collect

We do not require an account or registration of any kind
We do not collect your name, email, phone number, or any personal identifiers
We do not collect or store your location data
We do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs
We do not share any data with third parties
We do not collect payment or financial information

5. Third-Party Services

The only external service the App communicates with is the Queensland Government Fuel Pricing API to retrieve fuel prices. No personal data is exchanged during this process.

The App is distributed via the Apple App Store. Apple may collect its own standard analytics as described in Apple's Privacy Policy.

6. Children's Privacy

The App does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children. Since no data is collected, the App does not distinguish between users of different ages.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy if the App's functionality changes. Any updates will be reflected on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
